Question for the Body of Christ:
If Jesus returned in the flesh, and He was going to be your special guest for a week: would you have to make any adjustments, or changes to the way you live, the places you go, or the people that you associate with? If the answer is yes, and if you are really honest with yourself, it probably is; why haven’t you already made those changes? John The Baptist came preaching repentance, because the kingdom of Heaven was nearing in Christ Jesus. Repenting means that we stop living sinfully, so that we can come into the presence of God. The fact that you can acknowledge that there are some people or things in your life that Jesus Christ would not approve of means that you have not repented. The Gospel of Jesus Christ tells us that without the Holiness that results from obeying the Word of God, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)
